This brief asked us to promote the €5 Medium Extra Value Meal that students can avail of with their student leapcard. This needed to be done in an engaging way that would ensure that students felt they were being talked to rather than talked at, and in turn have a level of shareability.
THE IDEA.
Your room is cold and small, your roommates are an absolute nightmare, one lecturer keeps piling on the essays (as if you didnt have enough already) everything is the worst. There is no need to worry when McDonald’s is ready to give you a burgery hug for when you are feeling emojional for when you just cant cope and forget that the english language is a thing.
Who knew college would be so hard? You thought it would be endless parties and the odd lecture here and there. Nobody told you that rent needed to be paid every month, or that your house doesn’t clean itself. With assignment due dates creeping closer and closer you are starting to doubt yourself. McDonald’s got your back with deals that will leave you feeling a little more in control, a little more capable, and a little less Emojional.
VOUCHER.
The vouchers are there for when students ‘just can’t’ anymore. The great deals they offer and the even better food students will leave feeling a little less emojional and a little more ready to start that assignment.
